The first stage of the concentrator was commissioned in 1966 while the second one in 1969.
Pyritic, copper and copper-zinc ores are processed at the concentrator. As a result copper and zinc concentrates are produced.
Ores are processed by direct selective and selective-bulk flotation with further separation of bulk concentrates. The technology particularity is that copper concentrate is produced as froth product and zinc concentrate as cell product.
Free cyanide technology as well as free phenol frothing and water recycling are used for separation of bulk concentrates with environmental purposes.
Original solutions are concentrate retreating cycles and production of quartz-bearing tailings. These solutions are based upon material distribution by size.
