He was born on September 23, 1944 in Temnikovo settlement, Shakhov district, Moscow region.
He graduated from Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys (Mineral Dressing) in 1966.
He has worked for the Company since 1968 and he has been at this position since 1978. He has a title of “Honored Metallurgist” (1999) and was awarded with “Honor sign” (1981).
